Yes I am still interested. I am going to go to one of the Beekeepers meetings in Ocala. I want to explore it a little more.

They are fascinating , yet overwhelming at times.   I have around 15 hives and think I may make a large leap to about 50 hives in the spring.

Do you have any pictures of your hives you could post?

Re: Would like to do some Beekeeping.

Looking forward to it. I have been investigating the different types of hives.

Re: Would like to do some Beekeeping.

Langstroth hives are the commonly used types.  Some like the top bar, but they are generally for more advanced beekeepers.    I build most of my own equipment.

Re: Would like to do some Beekeeping.

That is what my research as shown. If you are looking for an incubator or hatcher, do you have chickens? Just curious.

Re: Would like to do some Beekeeping.

I learned something new tonight... If you happen to go to the Poultry Show at the Citrus County Fairgrounds Auditorium on Saturday October 25th. We will be in the back of the auditorium selling supplies and cages. Stop by and say Hi. I will also be showing some of my birds.
